ATTENTION LADIES OF ALL AGES: Come join the LWML ladies in an afternoon of fashion. View today’s current fashions while enjoying some salads and desserts provided by the Christ Lutheran Church’s LWML ladies. The Norfolk Shopko store will be providing the clothes for this exciting event. This event is scheduled for Sunday, July 16th at 1:00 pm at Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk, Nebraska. This is a freewill donation with proceeds going towards LWML mission grants. There is also a chance for some exciting door prizes for all who attend! So come and enjoy the fun.
Do you enjoy new fashion? Want to have an opportunity to get some amazing discounts? Consider becoming a model for the LWML Fashion Luncheon being held Sunday, July 16th at 1:00 pm. Models are needed in all shapes and sizes. In addition, the models will have an opportunity to get an attentional 25% of the clothes that they wear for the fashion show! King of Kings Lutheran Church, preparing to celebrate a Passover feast, asked the LWML ladies to cut enough apples to make 600 cups of charoseth, a sweet apple salad, which is eaten to remind the Passover guests of the mortar used in brick making when the Israelites were slaves in Egypt.
On April 2nd, Pastor Elliot from Beautiful Savior in LaVista spoke to us through God’s Word and led us in song. His wife Katie shared with us how she was a missionary in her past and still is today.
